Aloha e komo mai

Wake up to the sound of the waves and step onto your private second-floor lanai for views of the ocean and the islands of Lāna‘i and Moloka‘i. In winter, humpback whales pass right in front of the resort. Evenings are for sunsets straight from your chair.

The Royal Kahana sits right on Kahana Bay. Kā‘anapali's Whalers Village, historic Lahaina and the golf courses at Kapalua are all a short drive away.

1st time in Maui

We were visiting for local friends’ wedding and the location was perfect. Pictures are EXACTLY how the unit looks. Ocean views allowed for a serene whale watching experience while I sipped on my morning coffee. We watched sea turtles swim from our pool chairs and whales breach in the distance. It was stunning. Bed was comfy, pool was great, easy parking for rental car. Would def stay again.

The host went above and beyond

This was a perfect place to stay during our time in West Maui! There were a few walkable restaurants, a coffee shop and a general store. Easy access to the ocean and the view of the ocean was lovely. We had a few delays and issues with our incoming flight and the host went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and were welcomed when we finally arrived.

I highly recommend staying here, it was an overall wonderful place and experience!

The beach changes with the season
Autumn and winter currents can carry away much of the sand in front of the resort, and it returns over spring and summer — the Summer beach and Winter beach photos above show both. In winter there may be no direct route down to the sand from the property; a public beach access is about five minutes' walk away.
Parking
On-site parking is $15 plus tax per day, collected by the resort rather than by us.
Cancellation
Guest receives 100.00% if cancellation occurs at least 15 days before arrival; No refunds within 15 days of arrival.
